Work With Us - Installers

Who We Are

Academy Kitchens is a kitchen manufacturer based in Lingfield (RH7 6HN), supplying kitchens, wardrobes and fitted furniture to private clients and property developers.

Our kitchens are supplied rigid with doors pre-hung, making installs efficient, consistent and well-prepared.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking to work with experienced:

  • Kitchen installers

  • 2nd fix carpenters

All work is offered on a self-employed, subcontract basis, per project, with ongoing opportunities for reliable installers.

Scope Of Work - Kitchens

Typical works include:

  • Installing rigid kitchen units

  • Setting out from drawings and elevations

  • Levelling and fixing cabinets

  • Fitting panels, fillers, plinths and finishes

  • Final adjustments to ensure alignment and quality

Light Second Fix (Where Required):

  • Installing appliances into pre-installed electrical points (plug-in or hardwired where appropriate)

  • Connecting lighting to existing junction boxes

All electrical and plumbing connections are pre-installed. Work is limited to cabinetry fitting and connecting to existing points only. No plumbing or electrical certification required.

Wardrobe Installations (Also Required)

We also install wardrobes and bedroom furniture, typically supplied flat-pack.

Works include:

  • Assembly of units

  • Installation and fixing in position

  • Fitting doors, panels and internal components

These are generally simpler than kitchens and can be a good starting point for new installers.
