Wardrobe FAQ's
Everything you need to know before ordering your wardrobes.
🧱 PRODUCT
Are your wardrobes flat-pack or rigid built?
Our wardrobes are supplied flat-pack. This allows them to be delivered into properties with restricted access, upper floors, or tight staircases, while still achieving a fully fitted, high-end finish once assembled.
Are the internal layouts adjustable?
No — all internal layouts are pre-designed for each configuration. Shelving and compartments are fixed in position to maximise strength, improve overall finish, and ensure the design functions exactly as intended.
Why are your wardrobes not adjustable like others?
Unlike mass-produced systems, our wardrobes are fully designed in advance for each layout. This means all shelving and compartments are fixed in position rather than adjustable.
This approach increases overall strength, improves the internal finish, and eliminates unnecessary drill holes often found in multi-drilled systems. It also ensures the wardrobe functions exactly as intended, rather than relying on on-site adjustment.
The result is a cleaner, more considered interior — designed to perform, not adapted after installation.
What materials are used in the cabinets?
All cabinets are manufactured from 18mm EGGER board throughout, including backs, with matching 0.8mm PVC edging for a durable, colour-coordinated finish.
What drawer systems do you use?
We use Blum Legrabox drawer systems as standard, offering a premium look, smooth operation, and long-term reliability.
Are your wardrobes made to measure?
Our standard wardrobe ranges are manufactured to order based on predefined sizes and configurations.
Fully made-to-measure wardrobes are available as part of our Gold and Platinum services, where we design and manufacture specifically to suit your space.
Can your wardrobes be installed floor-to-ceiling?
Yes — our wardrobes are designed for full-height and ceiling-height installations, creating a clean, fitted appearance and maximising storage.
Do you supply handles, rails and accessories?
Yes — wardrobes can be configured with a full range of internal accessories including hanging rails, drawers, and storage solutions depending on your chosen layout.
🛠️ INSTALLATION & SERVICE
Do you offer installation?
Our Bronze service is supply-only, with wardrobes delivered flat-pack for on-site assembly.
Installation is available through our Gold and Platinum services, where our team will fully assemble and fit the wardrobes for you.
Can I install the wardrobes myself?
Yes — our wardrobes are designed for straightforward on-site assembly. They are ideal for competent tradespeople, builders, or experienced DIY installers.
Can wardrobes be designed for sloped ceilings or awkward spaces?
Yes — we offer a two-stage, site-adapted installation method for angled ceilings and complex layouts. This is available as part of our Gold and Platinum services, where our team manages installation on site.
Do you provide installation instructions?
No — we do not provide step-by-step instruction manuals. Our products are designed for experienced installers or tradespeople familiar with cabinet assembly and fitting.
🚚 DELIVERY
How are the wardrobes delivered?
Wardrobes are delivered flat-pack for ease of handling. Delivery is curbside as standard under our Bronze service, so suitable access and labour for unloading will be required on site.
What do I need to consider for delivery and access?
You should ensure there is clear access to the property and sufficient space to safely receive and move the components inside. Flat-pack construction allows access through tighter spaces than rigid furniture, but manual handling should still be considered.
Is there a minimum ceiling height required?
Yes — a minimum ceiling height is required to safely assemble and position tall units. For a standard unit of approximately 2310mm high and 580mm deep, a minimum ceiling height of around 2380mm–2400mm is recommended to allow safe tilting into position.
What happens if items arrive damaged or missing?
Any damages or shortages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. We will then arrange replacements or resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
📦 ORDERING & WARRANTY
How long do wardrobes take to manufacture?
All wardrobes are made to order, with typical lead times of 3–6 weeks, depending on demand and project size. Lead times will be confirmed at point of order.
Can I make changes after placing an order?
As all wardrobes are made to order, changes may not be possible once production has begun. Any amendments must be agreed prior to manufacture.
What warranty do you offer?
Our cabinet construction and hardware are covered by a lifetime warranty, ensuring long-term structural performance under normal use.
Doors are supplied with a manufacturer-backed warranty. For example, vinyl-wrapped doors from Trade Mouldings typically carry a 6-year warranty against manufacturing defects such as delamination.
