Service Level Breakdown

Below is a detailed comparison of what is included within each Academy Kitchens service level. From supply-only through to fully managed installation, each tier is structured to reflect how the project is delivered, the level of site involvement, and the degree of coordination required.

Bronze - Trade Core/Supply Only

Designed for online or pricelist-based orders with no Academy design, co-ordination or site-involvement. Suitable for clients managing specification and installation independently.

Silver - Trade Managed Supply

Designed for repeatable layouts and structured developments, Silver provides a streamlined, trade focused delivery model with fixed scope, predictable lead times and efficient factory scheduling.

Gold - Multi-Plot Installation

Gold offers the same full Academy design, manufacture and installation service as Platinum, delivered across multi-plot developments where shared delivery and installation programmes allow for economies of scale.

Platinum - Individual Project Installation

Platinum provides the full Academy design, manufacture and installation service for individual homes or one-off projects where delivery and installation are mobilised specifically for that property.

Frequently Asked Questions

Gold vs Platinum – What’s the difference?

Gold is designed for multi-plot developments, where delivery and installation are grouped to benefit from economies of scale. Platinum is delivered on a plot-by-plot basis, with dedicated resource and maximum flexibility — ideal for one-off homes or more complex projects.

Why do Bronze & Silver require full payment upfront?

Bronze & Silver operate on a self-managed delivery model. Upfront payment allows efficient factory scheduling, predictable lead times and avoids programme or site-related exposure.

Why do Gold & Platinum offer phased payments?

Gold & Platinum include increased programme co-ordination, installation responsibility, stock holding and commercial risk. Phased payments reflect the higher level of involvement.

Can we move between packages during a project?

Packages are selected based on the model required. Where scope or responsibility changes, the appropriate package will be applied to reflect the revised level of service.

Does Bronze or Silver reduce product quality?

No. All cabinetry is manufactured to the same high standards using the same materials, machinery and quality control processes. The difference lies in delivery, co-ordination and programme responsibility.

Which package is best for multi-plot developments?

Gold is typically best suited to multi-plot developments, where shared delivery and installation programmes allow projects to benefit from economies of scale. Platinum is more commonly used for individual homes or one-off projects where installation is mobilised specifically for that property.

What happens if additional design revisions are required?

Each package includes a defined level of design development. Where additional redesigns or changes fall outside the agreed scope, these may incur additional charges, which would be agreed in advance.

Why do Gold & Platinum projects often use two deliveries?

Two-stage delivery is commonly used to support installation sequencing, with cabinetry delivered first and appliances and final items delivered closer to completion. A single delivery can be arranged if preferred, however staged deliveries typically allow more efficient installation scheduling and site logistics across multiple plots.
